I’m an intelligent woman that purposefully maintains my childlike happiness. I’m imperfect and I'm ok with that.
I experience life through my adventures as a teacher, wife, world traveler, triathlete, and blog writer. I believe I am blessed, not by money or overly fortunate circumstances, but by a positive few that have molded me in to the level-headed, happy adult I am today. My eighty year old grandpa is the quintessential model of happiness that I grew up drinking in. When he meets someone he WILL give them a hug (doesn't matter if they're not a hugger because he won't bother to ask) , then he WILL talk to that person as if they are old friends, inevitably that person WILL leave loving him. It's magic to watch. My goal is to have a similar impact on people by channeling my "Inner Gramps." I plan to inspire and entertain the readers of SAM-e's Good Mood Blog.
I have my own special formula for happiness: 10% Exercise + 10% Family + 10% Faith & Optimism + 10% Kindness toward people + 56% Amazing ability to laugh at the ridiculous things I do on a regular occasion = One naturally good mood 96% of the time:) Are you smiling yet? For more laughs, generally at my expense, check out my cooking blog at http://onenightaweek.wordpress.com/
I would ask: How many hours of sleep do you get in a typical day? Too much, or too little, sleep can be a major mood sabotager. I say, get the proper amount of sleep people, sleeping is one of life's little gifts. It's free and makes you feel amazing!
