Bio:

A health and wellness writer with a passion for helping others take control of their health and happiness!

What would make you a great representative of Nature Made SAM-e Complete®?

I believe we each have a responsibility for our own health and happiness, and that natural choices are the best for taking care of our minds and bodies. Too often, we rely on prescription drugs or other methods to restore our physical and mental health, when these modalities may simply treat symptoms without addressing the underlying causes. I believe that taking care of mind, body, and spirit is the key to living a longer, healthier, and happier life. I love learning and writing about different ways to live healthier, both physically and psychologically!

How do you maintain a good mood naturally?

I haven’t always been a “good mood” kind of gal, but over the past several years I have discovered that self expression, a healthy diet, and exercise are crucial to finding happiness and balance in life. I find that I am in a much better mood when I am regularly going to yoga, eating healthy foods, and honoring my authentic self. Several years ago, I stopped worrying so much about pleasing others and started trying to live a life that felt more genuine to me. I maintain a blog that focuses on making healthy, authentic, natural choices. I keep a gratitude journal and write down all the things that I have to be thankful for, because it can be so easy to take them for granted. I also write down my goals every day. Charles Kingsley said “all that we need to make us really happy is something to be enthusiastic about.” When you are focused on the things you are passionate about, it is easy to maintain a good mood!

What question would you add to the SAM-e Complete® Mood Quiz?

“Do you feel like you have a purpose in life?” In studies of geographic regions where people regularly live longer, healthier, happier lives, knowing their life’s purpose was a common trait that seemed to help them maintain a positive outlook.
