Q: Is there any research for SAM-e’s affect on osteoarthritis pain?
SAM-e has been shown in multiple clinical trials to decrease symptoms associated with osteoarthritis, including pain. It has been compared to Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory drugs and is generally very well tolerated. It may take up to 30 days of taking SAM-e to experience an effect.
