Q: I have headaches/migraines and I don't feel like myself. Does SAM-e work for headaches or energy?
Thanks for your question! SAM-e has not been tested in the area of headaches. There is some research for SAM-e and chronic fatigue, but the results have been inconclusive. There are many people who take SAM-e and experience a better mood, which helps them with energy and they end up having a more positive outlook on life. Headaches can be debilitating, so be sure to be proactive and find a health care professional who specializes in this area, so you can get your problem resolved.
