5 Inspirational Musicians
I told you before about some amazing athletes who should serve as an inspiration to us all. Well, in any profession, there are going to be a few individuals who make you want to be the best you can be. Here are some musicians who certainly put me in a good mood.

I told you before about some amazing athletes who should serve as an inspiration to us all. Well, in any profession, there are going to be a few individuals who make you want to be the best you can be. Here are some musicians who certainly put me in a good mood.
- Andrea Bocelli – “Destiny has a lot to do with it, but so do you. You have to persevere, you have to insist.“
Blind since the age of 12, Bocelli never let his lack of vision stop him from becoming a virtuoso. Music was a source of comfort for Bocelli during his younger years, and he quickly learned to play everything from piano to flute to saxophone to drums. - Susan Boyle – “I want to raise awareness - I want to turn my disability into ability.”
If you’re not one of the 89 million people who watched the amazing performance from Britain’s Got Talent sensation Susan Boyle, then now’s your chance. This 48-year-old unemployed woman might not have ever been kissed, but her voice is as angelic as they come. - Bono – “Music can change the world because it can change people.”
U2’s front man, Bono, is an inspirational musician for reasons other than just overcoming personal adversity. Instead, Bono makes this list because of all the work he’s done for others. Bono is known for his activism concerning Africa. He’s the cofounder of the initiative Product Red, which raises money for AIDS awareness and prevention. - John Lennon – “All you need is love.”
If you are a person, then you might have heard of The Beatles, or at least heard one of their songs. John Lennon was perhaps one of the best-known songwriters in the modern age, but he was also a political activist who rallied for peace in a time wrought with war and turmoil. - Sarah McLachlan – “I don't tend to question things that much. If it feels right, I go for it.“
This Canadian singer is best known for her songs “Building a Mystery” and “Angel,” among others, but she’s also a champion for animals worldwide. McLachlan is a supporter and spokesperson for the ASPCA and animal welfare everywhere.
