7 Relaxing Locales

Here is a list of some places in the world that are notoriously low key and enable you to really relax and enjoy the time you have with the view around you.

  1. Key West – The most well known of the Florida Keys, this relaxing locale offers not only a serene and peaceful atmosphere, but a pace of life that encourages you to take it easy.
  2. Hawaii – Though the Hawaiian Islands are similar in their beauty and friendly “Aloha” lifestyle, I personally have to vouch for the island of Kauai. If you want a place that is as peaceful as it is beautiful, look no further. Here are some pictures from a recent trip I took that will show you exactly what I mean: Kauai Photos.
  3. Vermont – You might not have not even considered Vermont as a vacation destination, but don’t dismiss it if you want a relaxing location to spend some quiet time. In autumn, Vermont is a colorful sight to behold and is the perfect place to lose yourself in nature.
  4. Napa Valley – It doesn’t matter if you imbibe the vino yourself, because Wine Country is a great place to see some amazing California scenery and indulge in some relaxing and decadent activities, too.
  5. Chattanooga, Tennessee – Why not head south for a chance to get away from the hustle and bustle? Chattanooga might not seem like a typical place to put on your “must visit” list, but with its parks, glorious mountain views and southern charm, Chattanooga might make it to that list after all.
  6. Quebec City – The great white north is sometimes a mystery to me, but from what I understand, places like Quebec City make it sound more and more appealing. This place has brilliant architecture and all the charm of small French towns without having to venture to Europe.
  7. Take a Cruise – A cruise can be a great way to get pampered and not have any of the worries of wondering “where to go.” Cruises are great for all ages, because everything you need, from entertainment to rest, is right there at your disposal.

Stay tuned for more relaxing locales and other photo journals of places in the world that inspire a good mood.
