This is just one of the many reasons I visit Suzanne's blog every day. She has a gift for lifting spirits.Even when she was snowed in under a foot of snow, not once, but three times, with no electricity and no contact with the outside world, she still gave her friends (don't call us readers. She would be offended)a cheerful, upbeat word or two with pictures to go along with it.We love her.

I so look forward to Suzanne's daily blog and a peek into her life on her West Virigina farm. It's like you are there, you can smell the fresh air, partake in the daily chores...yet without any of the hard work! Loved the poem and as always the pictures alone would be enough!

Suzanne - Your blog is the first thing I look at in the morning with my coffee. My mother was at my home yesterday for Easter. She's 88 and doesn't know about computers, but I showed her the blog at Christmas. First thing she asked was "What's happening on the 'chicken lady' site?"

Spring has been slow coming to East Tennessee, too. This past week the daffodils have popped up, though and the redbuds and forsythia have bloomed. Such a fresh breath of air!

We've gone directly from Winter to Summer in my part of NC...been in the mid to high 80s the last week or two...too hot too soon. Don't go a day without my Suzanne fix!!
