Holiday Craft Roundup
I wanted to share a few craft ideas I've rounded up from across the web. Here are some ways you can spruce up your home to get festive for the holidays.

Pinecone Turkeys – A fun craft for the kids, these pinecone turkeys are a great way to gear up for Thanksgiving. You can usually secure all the pieces with craft glue. Be sure to exercise caution if you decide to use a glue gun.
- Part 1 and Part 2 – How to decorate the pinecone with feathers.
- Part 3 – Adding the feet and head. If you’re a teacher, these also make a great activity for your class, and this time of year, pinecones are never in short supply.
Holiday Wreath – Wreaths are a great accent for your home. They’re also a nice way to make your home inviting for guests. Here is a great fall wreath that looks amazing and it only costs $11! All you need is a piece of foam board from a hobby store and some fake autumn leaves that you can probably get at a dollar store this time of year. Break out the glue gun and go to town. Don’t worry about making it perfect. This project is about fun and creativity.
Thanksgiving Centerpiece – For advanced crafters, this table centerpiece will be sure to impress your guests. It involves working with floral foam, which you can find at any craft store. The directions call for using real flowers; however, if you want something that can last longer, pick up some silk flowers while you’re getting your craft supplies. Once you’ve got a nice selection, cover the foam in sheet moss. This will help hide any gaps between the flowers. Then place holes in the foam and start making your arrangement. Follow the directions and you’ll have an exquisite centerpiece that will set the mood for a wonderful holiday feast.
