Organizing Your Home For a Peaceful Mind
I don’t know about you, but when my living environment is disorganized, it causes this feeling of uneasiness inside. I try not to notice it, but it bothers me, as they are visual reminders of more tasks and not enough time.

Being a working mom and keeping an organized home can be challenging. Let’s face it, at the end of the day: after work, after making dinner, and after putting the kiddies to bed, you are left exhausted. The last thing you want to do is clean and organize your home.
At the same time, not doing anything about it places a tax on your inner space. I’ve heard people say that your outer world is a reflection of your inner world. Whenever my house begins to look like it’s been hit by a tornado, if I examine within, I’ll always find that I am feeling mentally cluttered and out of sorts as well.
Ever notice how you feel when you walk into an organized living space? Calm and peaceful, right? And similarly, when we step into chaotic disorganization, we feel uneasy and distracted.
For the sake of boosting my mood into one that is calm and peaceful, I am undergoing a personal project to get our home in shape, and finding creative techniques to keep it that way. I’ll post more organizational and de-cluttering tips in the coming weeks.
The process of un-cluttering your home can be a daunting task, especially if you’ve had the opposite habit for years. My suggestion for you and myself is to take baby steps. Start by realizing that we want to change, break up the large tasks into smaller digestible chunks, and take small action everyday and every week towards its fruition.
Good Luck!

In order to keep home organized, we should first have the habit of throwing away unnecessary /unused stuff regularly. Otherwise things fill the home gradually and no space for living.
