I have always owed a cat. Life would be so empty without my cat.

Danielle H Tuesday, November 04, 2008

This is so totally true. My mother and I have a cat named Prince and Price is always around my mother when she is sick, upset, or even just plain happy. He is always there to lend a helping hand in making his favorite people happy which in turn make us happy. Spending even just 15 mins a day with Prince before I go to work makes me a pleasant person at work also. If you do not have a pet, I suggest going and getting one from your local animal shelter. They all do wonders.

Saw your SAM-E commercial for the 1st time today. Was eager to take the mood test. Nothing else works, I figured why not, right? Anyway, I knew I was on the right track when I saw the article about 5 ways pets can save your sanity. I can attest to that. I have a bunny, she turned 1 year old today. Without her, I probably couldn't get myself together as I do every morning. She needs me to take care of her and that's good enough for me. Anyway, that's it. Thanks for reading. Keep up the good work, I'm considering getting some SAM-E, and can only hope and pray it makes me feel the way they do in your commerical. Take Care. Ruthie Lawrence.

My dogs get me up in the morning and keep me going throughout the day. I love watching them play. They are just so in the moment!

I agree my pets have gotten me thru many hard times. When I am down or sad they sense it and show me they care with puppy kisses and hugs, or soft purrs and head butts from my cats. They are my sunshine when skys are blue. And I know they are always there for me. Am going to check into SAM-e and talk to my doctor about it.
Thanks for the info and the mood quiz! Great!

I have a dog and I recently stopped taking him for granted. I'm a teenager and my life can be pretty stressful sometimes, but I love knowing that my puppy is always there to love me. Once you have a pet, it's fun to observe their personality and realize how badly you need them around. Whenever he has overnight vet visits, it's so empty without him here. I know some people aren't dog people, and neither was I. But now that he's here, he's never going to leave. =)

I have one horse and one adorable cat named Cowboy. I am 66yrs. old and I ride my horse at least 3 times a week. When you love an animal, your love comes back 10 times as much. They keep me healthy and moving, especially my horse I am looking into Sam-e Complete to keep my moods healthy.

I have two cats, and they are like my children. I couldn't imagine life without them, and it's true, they do help lower my stress :-)

Sandy Monday, December 01, 2008

I have 2 cats and 2 dogs and I have to admit they keep me sane, whenever I am sad or grumpy I just head home and they are always there to comfort me!

Nikki Thursday, December 04, 2008

I have 2 cats and a dog and they are part of the family. I love them so much. I wish I could have more. It is hard to take care of them when I am moody. But at the same time they get me out of bed early in the morning and I feel so loved when I am around them.

I have a German Shepeard Female Named BabyGirl Sheba! and she is my best friend. I love her to death she is always making me laugh when i am down and i tlak to her alot! i kinda venalate to her! so she knows all my secrets and i don't ever have to worry about her telling anyone! even if she could talk! i wouldn't trade her for the world!

Dana Monday, December 08, 2008

I'm looking forward too to trying Sam-e. I also believe that pets are great stress relievers. My dog would always meet me at the front door with his little nub wagging (He was a boxer) and if I had had a bad say wt work all that atress melted away. There was something so soothing about petting him that we'd both end up falling asleep on the couch.

Having a cat in my life has made my life so much more interesting and fun. The funny little things they do and the way they keep you company when you are alone is so valuable. As you come home from a busy day, they are there to greet you and cheer you up. Pets are wonderful!

I am 65 and have known for a very long time on how it helps a person to have a pet. I have 2 cats and 1 small dog and I love them so much. They help me in so many ways and I just wish there was some way to make my landlord understand this. He is an old fart that what he says is right and you are always wrong. So he makes me keep my pets in a cold garage since HE doesn't want them in the house where it is warm. Needless to say, the less he knows won't hurt him and my beloved pets are nice and warm and in a cozy place.

When I moved away from home with my boyfriend to start college, I was so lonely. I wasn't making any friends and my boyfriend was always at work. I was going downhill fast into a deep depression. Then I got two kittens (little sisters) for my birthday and they saved me from insanity. I am their whole world and it's nice to know that they will always be at home waiting for me. Animals are amazing!

I have a 12 yr old german shepherd/collie mix named Kayla. She is the best thing that ever happened to me and has gotten me through some tough times. She is getting older and having more health issues...I try not to think about the day when I won't have her anymore and focus on the good times we are having now.

Claudia Saturday, January 10, 2009

I love all animals but mostly my cats!I've got 10,5 outside and 5 inside. They are my pals,i couldn't make it without them. They are family!

I have 2 dogs and 4 cats.
It is true that they make my life better.
I will try this Sam-e thing just so I don't get upset anymore when my female cat pies on the washer or clothes or whatever she can get her butt on.
My cats always know when I am not feeling good.
Especially when I have a migraine. One of my cats has a really loud purr and he lays purring on my chest when my migraines get really bad. Soon after he started my migraines seem to fade away.
When I cry my dogs are all over me and try to make me feel better. Because I have to walk my big dog a lot I lost 55 pounds last year and went from size 18 to size 10.
I love my pets!!!!

well i dont see any male postings, so here i am. i am 29, about 5 yrs ago me and my girlfriend split up and i had no where to go. so i lived out of my storage unit for 5 months. Her dad wouldnt let her keep our cat. so i had her with me. i would go to work and on the way back i just dreaded going "home" but when i would arrive, my cat "baby" would be at the door waiting on me. As soon as i walked in, she just took all the stress out of me. It felt like i was at a normal home. I still have her to this day and when i have real bad days, she just lays with me on the couch. I would die if anything ever happened to her.

I have one small dog, named Miracle, and she is a Papillon. She is 15 months old. I just love her so much and don't know what I'd do without her. She is always there for me. I live far away from my family so it helps that she is there, and when I get home she's always waiting for me and is so happy to see me. She always brightens my mood with her doggie kisses! And she is hilarious as she is so full of energy. She loves playing ball, and it's so fun to watch her. It's hard not to smile when I am around her. They say that if you ever get a Papillon, be prepared to laugh a lot, and boy were they right! I know that having her around makes my life less stressful.

Dawn Sunday, January 11, 2009

I'm sorry to say that my cat has not helped my sanity. It just made it worse.

Sandi Monday, January 12, 2009

Wow ...how true that statement is. I quit smoking almost 2 yrs ago and in the meantime I became very very sick and depressed. I also had to have surgery on my knee which didnt help my situation at all. Just made me more depressed. During this time my sister-in-law came across this young pup and she ask me to take the pup because she couldnt keep it. I told her I would give the pup a try and if she became too much for me to handle I would bring her back....like I said it has been almost two years and I truly and honestly believe that she saveed my life. Here was something that depended on me to get up and let her out and who depended on me to feed her and to take care of her. And I did all these things and have truly fell in love with my "Mug" and would not give back my baby for anything. All I can now say is...thank you thank you so very much.

Heather Monday, January 12, 2009

I have a dog and two cats and they are the best. My dog always knows when Im upset, sad and/or sick and she protects me more than any human I've ever known.

Sam Monday, January 12, 2009

We Just got a new puppy and Ive realized He makes me instantly happy when I walk out to greet him hello, with his leaps for me and a wagging tail. He definatley makes my day!

Marva Gore Wednesday, January 14, 2009

My son was killed while serving in the Air Force nearly 14 years ago. To combat the lonely empty feeling I had, I got a golden retriever puppy. Unfortunately, the dog only lived 10 years before she died. The solution, I got another golden retriever who is now 4 years old. My life would not be the same if it wasn't for my dog. I love her and she makes me happy with her outgoing personality. She's God sent!

Amanda Wednesday, January 14, 2009

I have to agree with this article. I have a little dog and he keeps me happy, calm and on the run.

Teresa Harper Thursday, January 15, 2009

Very true it is, Ihave a pug, very rumbunxious but i knew she wanted me home from the hospital. While in the hospital my family brought her to see me,when they moved me to the nursing home, they brought her to me again. This was a great home coming for me and her both, because I live by myself,so no more loneliness.

Cathy Thursday, January 15, 2009

I do not know what I would do without my 2 cats. I have most of my life always had at least one cat. Cats seem to understand when I am happy, sad, sick or just wanting to play. They are considered my family.

Lu Thursday, January 15, 2009

I have four cats and they seem to know when I am down. One of them always comes up and wants to be loved and cuddled and this always brings my mood up. They put a smile on my face and love in my heart. I think any one who is alone should have an animal, I love all animals but think cats are easier to take care of since I am handicap.

Teresa Thursday, January 15, 2009

Yes, pets are a wonder! I could never live without them. They keep me sane and give unconditional love! I have 6 cats, 2 dogs and my kids each have their own fish tank as well. We love all our animals and I love the fact that my kids love them as much as my husband and I do. We do have a house full but its full of love, and some stress at times but the pets, always keep us happy! They are one of the greatest wonders of our lives. Could never live without them. They were all saved from the great outdoors, or shelters or from a rescue. They needed us as much as we needed them.

LOIS Thursday, January 15, 2009

I WAS JUST READING SOME OF MESSAGES ABOUT PETS.I HAVE 8 CATS AND ONE DOG AND I FEEL THE SAME WAY ABOUT THEM BEING A LOT OF COMPANY AND SURE HELPS THE STRESS.ALL MY CATS WERE WILD ONES THAT I SURVIVE AS KITTENS AND GOT THEM TAME TO HOME LIFE ,SOMETIMES IT WAS A CHALLENGE BUT IT WAS WORTH THE TIME AS THEY HAVE TURNED OUT TO BE REALLY GOOD CATS AND INTERTAINING.

Linn Friday, January 16, 2009

I got a Toy Shih Tzu last February and for her to be only 5 pounds; she's the joy of my life and when I'm feeling down, she knows and she'll jump in my lap and give me a kiss and everything seems to be much better. I now understand why people with dogs love them so much!! My husband work third shift and she's with me from the time he leave the house until he return and when I leave and come back; oh my God, I feel so much love from her!! She really makes me feel like I was missed!! She's been my therapy for my depression & she's been better then any medication!!

elaine Saturday, January 17, 2009

I totally agree that pets are great for relieving stress. We have 3 cats and after a bad day at work, coming home and just petting "my" cat is relaxing while she lays and purrs. I would never be without a pet.

Debi C Sunday, January 18, 2009

I have my 2 Jack Russells and my Appaloosa mare. They are my kids and she is my partner. She's getting old now (20) but she's truely my best friend who knows me better than anyone. We were young and silly together. My dogs are both rescues and mean the world to me. They are always there when I need something to cling to. Without my critters, I wouldn't have a life to live. The 3 of them are my anchors.

Lynda Monday, January 19, 2009

I've always had animals whether it was cats dogs, rats rabbits, fish. Recently my youngest daughter moved into her own place, even though I'm married it was still lonely in the house while he was at work. As of today I hve 7 dogs, 2 cats, 2 rabbits, and 2 goldfish. 5 are little dogs and they have the run of the house and the fenced front yard, 2 are big dogs and they have the run of the backyard. I know that without my babies,I would probably go crazy or be very depressed. They all just love me and don't ask for anything in return, I love all of them.

Adrianna Tuesday, January 20, 2009

I have six cats and two dogs. My cat Korbel really helps me through tough times. For example when i'm in my room crying he'll come in and rub up on me and meow at me. It makes me feel like he understands and he's there for me and i think pets really do help with my emotions especially when i'm sad. Cause you can talk to them and they just listen and i love that and they dont judge which is actually the best part out of all of it. :)

Vicky Sunday, January 25, 2009

I have a little dog. And yes he does make me feel better. But right now we both are down and out. You see we lost our beloved little girl in November 08. She was with me for 14 years. She was my baby girl. She will never know how much I love her. She got me through the worst time of my life. My mothers sickness and death. But me and my little boy are holding our own, because we know one day we will be back with Ginger for ever.

Mary Monday, January 26, 2009

I have 3 small dogs and they all pile on me whenever I sit down. I wish I had 3 hands so I could pet them all at once. My daughter is going through the sometimes rude and rebellious teenage years and my dogs help me relax and breathe. They give me the patience I need. They provide unconditional love and I love them all very dearly. Good boys!
