SAM-e Complete™ Monthly Contest – Create Your Own Good Mood Blog Topic

I’ve put up quite a few posts over the past year. I’ve told you all about things you can eat to put you in a better mood, to how sunlight can affect your mood. Since I’ve called all the shots for the past year, now it’s your turn. What topic do you want covered on the Good Mood Blog?

It can be informative or fun, but whatever blog topic you choose, make sure it’s a winner. So post your best idea for a topic to the comments below, and you’ll be entered into our contest to win* a month’s supply of Nature Made SAM-e Complete .

What’s more, I’ll take the three highest scoring suggestions and write posts about each topic. After writing about good moods in nearly every subject, I could use some help coming up with fresh ideas. To give you an idea of the type of posts I like to write, just take a look back at the Good Mood Blog.

Leave a comment below with your original blog post idea, and add any links you might find helpful. Unfortunately, I can’t post every comment submitted, but I’ll put up as many as I can. Since this is about creativity and new ideas, your entries will be judged based on a few qualifications:

  1. Creativity – Be as creative as you want with this. In the past, we’ve received poems, stories, and all around hilarious entries for contests, so the more creative you are, the better your chances.
  2. How Clearly and Effectively the Entry Message is Conveyed – Make sure your comment makes sense to at least one other person before you send it.
  3. Relevance to the Subject of the Contest Question – Not just any answer will do. Make sure what you’re submitting answers the question.

SAM-e Complete™ is meant to supplement the Sam-e molecules that your body normally produces to help you maintain your healthy mood naturally. It’s not meant to cure or prevent any conditions, including depression. Because of this, comments about depression or other such topics will not be posted. Even if we can’t approve all the comments we receive, you’ll still be eligible to win whether we post your comment or not.

For full contest rules, be sure to check out the Official Rules page. Good luck!

Are there any contraindications for using Sam E with Asacol, a medication used in ulcerative colitis?

Wayne Weaver Wednesday, September 02, 2009

Just a comment as follows: I have been taking Sam-e now for about eight months, IT WORKS. After about taking just one a day of the 400mg tablets. My mood has changed for the better. My obsessive compulsive desires have lessened considerably, and I can pay more attention to people speaking to me. Before my mind wondered as I tried to listen, only after taking the Sam-e has my attention span increased where needed and decreased in obsessive compulsions. I was even actually able to take the time to write this comment. Thank You, Nature Made for your wonderful product. Wayne Weaver

P.S. I tried other cheaper brands, they are not as efficent, do not know why but Nature Made got it right!

Thanks Again, Sincerely-- Wayne Weaver

Topic: How to Deal with a Negative Person

We've all known someone who dwells on the negative. It's especially tough to deal with them while we're trying so hard to remain positive. What's the best way to deal handle someone who always looks on the downside of things when we'd prefer to stay on the upside?

I need a chart on good and bad days

I am an advocate. I feel that I am responsible for many happy faces including my own.
I have described the serene, focused confidence that one fells as akin to Michael Jordan having the ball with 10 seconds against anyone and knowing that he WILL get the job done. Not cocky, not over confident, simply self reliant to focus on the singular task at hand. I occasionally sense that my relaxed confidence creates an improved karma within me, in that I need to work less to help myself - which leaves more of me to assist others. Tahnk you SAM-e!

I'd like to see some discussion on living with someone who's negative and unhappy while trying to stay happy and upbeat yourself and trying to raise children that are also within the household to be happy and upbeat. How do the conflicting moods with the adults affect the children?

I have taken Sam-e for years. Actually, my mother had suggested them to me because she was taking them and said she noticed a difference in herself. This was the first Nature Made product I bought. Well 9 years later I still take one every day. I feel they help and people say they do so I guess I will admit to some success on them. I tend to be a little negative by nature but I feel these help me keep it in check.

Dealing with Negative people:
Lead by example and hope that your positivity rubs off on them. Show them the futility of their attitude with a smile & a laugh!
