- A: It is recommended that pregnant and breastfeeding women seek the approval and supervision of their obstetrician, gynecologist, or primary health care professional if they wish to include SAM-e in their daily supplement regimen.
- Q: Should SAM-e be used if you are over 50 and a female going through menopause?

- Q: Is SAM-e safe to take with Birth Control Pills?

Sam-e changed my life. I no longer take riddlin, welbutrin or use clamaria patches and hormone cream just to exist.
I take 400mg Sam-e three times a day. I was in such a bad plase hormone wise before my sister told me about Sam-e.
I have been dealing with surgically induced menapose since 2003 and I thought I would never be normal again. I was perscribed the highest dose of patches the doctor would allow, testosterin and cream and still no relief. The night sweats were severe, no sleep and mind and emotions were failing me.
Three days of taking 400mg of Sam-e 2 times a day and I noticed a big difference, ie. no day sweats, calmer, clearer thought process etc. Three times a day and I sleep like a baby, no night sweats.
Oh what a blessed life I live now!
