Recipe for a good mood (from a stay-at-home mom with 3 boys, all under 4 years old):
- Smiling little boys, waking up with happy hearts and a hug for Mama;
- Nice little boys, playing well together;
- Sleepy little boys, napping quietly for at least an hour;
- Silly little boys, being their goofy selves;
- Hungry little boys, eating what Mama made for you;
- Inquisitive little boys, finding out how things work;
- Lovely little boys, giving me and Papa kisses;
- Nighty-night, little boys. We had a fun, yet peaceful day. Whew! Let's try that again tomorrow!

My recipe for a good mood:
- 1) Waking up early in the mornings to enjoy a nice cup of coffee in silence!!
- 2) Listening to music while cooking! Kids laugh watching the food dance as its getting prepared!
- 3) ANYTHING CHOCOLATE!!
- 4) Watching a romantic movie (while husband complains that it’s too girly) and watch him tear up at the end!!
- 5) Throwing the ball for our dog (Dixie) to fetch and watch her leap (over the toys in the yard) as if her life depends on it!! So funny!
- 6) Wearing heels!! Something about heels makes you feel sexier!!
- 7) Lathering up with a good smelling sugar vanilla lotion after a warm bath!! So yummy without the calories!
Life can get every stressful as a mother of two (one with special needs). I try to find enjoyment in the simple things. There are some days when the "not-so-good" mood monster takes over but normally those are the days when mommy's hidden chocolate stash has been discovered! LOL
